HATFIELD — November 19, 2019 — Hatfield Select Board unanimously approves long-debated accessibility ramp at Memorial Town Hall. The board voted Tuesday to direct the contractor to install a rear ramp estimated at $89,000, drawing from a $325,000 renovation fund, after years of community disagreement over the project's location. Town Counsel had previously confirmed the expenditure was legally permissible. In a joint session with the Housing Authority board, the Select Board also appointed Roland Loren as tenant representative to the Housing Authority with a term through 2022, following a tenant election held November 4 at Chapinook.
